GST (a chronological list of events)

APKCPM submitted proposal and Invitation to MoF and Custom for a GST Seminar right after the Association was officially established in Oct 2014. 

Subsequently, APKCPM received approval from MoF to organize the GST Seminar and the Association was honoured to have confirmation of speakers from Royal Malaysian Customs on 1st Dec 2014

Forum Discussion on GST and its impact on Dialysis Centers on 29th Jan 2015, Swan Convention Centre, Sunway Medical Center with Guest speaker from Royal Malaysian Customs 

  

A total of 100 participants from various private operators and NGOs attended the seminar on 29th Jan 2015
 
Initiated by APKCPM right after the GST Seminar, a Joint Memorandum from APKCPM and PPHBM of an appeal for products and services used in dialysis treatments to be zero-rated was sent to MoF and Custom on 24th Feb 2015. 
After meeting with MoF officers on the 24 March 2015, the Association works hand in hand with National Kidney Foundation and Persatuan Pengusaha Hemodialisis Bumiputera Malaysia to appeal for selected items to be zero-rated GST for Dialysis Services to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) with a memo sent on 13th April 2015.

As a result, we received favourable reply on those items that are zero-rated and GST relief respectively from the MoF on the appeal on 9th June 2015
